The students planned, wrote, made props for, and recorded stories about subtraction. We used our document camera to film and a program called audacity to record our voices. We edited the movie using Windows Movie Maker. Enjoy!

Practice with -ook word family with us! We used our recorder from our Activboard to write and change the words. We edited the clips and added narration using Microsoft Movie Maker. The class is becoming great movie editors!

We decided to make a movie about the months of the year when we were learning about ordinal numbers. We worked together to create pictures using a program called Kid Pix. Making the movie helped us practice learning the order of the months, reinforce using our ordinal numbers, and remember what holidays and weather applied to each month. We hope you enjoy it!

After reading Old Malolo Had a Farm by Joy Cowley, the class brainstormed our own version of the song Old MacDonald Had a Farm. After making the plan and lyrics, Miss Stem filmed and edited the clips to add to the students' singing. We hope you enjoy a peek into our world at school.

The class wanted to make a movie about counting to 100. The students used the recorder on our interactive whiteboard to write the numbers to 100. We then imported the pictures to Windows Movie Maker where they added the clips to the timeline and included narration. Knowing it would be a long project, one student had the idea to complete 10 numbers a day to our project so that we could complete the movie in 10 days.
